Special honey types can only be harvested where the bees can find large, homogenous yield areas. The extensive German forests, for example in Bavaria, produce sufficient honeydew to enable us to obtain pure German forest honey. This unique light to red brown honey has many fans due to its strongly aromatic flavour. The German Beekeepers Association honey is sold in the classic 500g jar.

Since 1925, the label "Genuine German honey" is known as the mark of quality, guaranteeing top-class honey from Germany. Only honey that is carefully processed and harvested in Germany may carry this quality label and be sold in the original German Beekeepers Association jar.
