At the end of April rapeseed blooms transform Germany into a yellow sea of flowers. Bees particularly find a plentiful supply in the states of Schleswig-Holstein, Niedersachsen, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern and Bavaria. This ivory white to yellowy honey reminds us of the smell of rapeseed flowers. With its easily-spreadable, crystallised consistency and mildly aromatic flavour, it is a favourite of many honey connoisseurs. The German Beekeepers Association honey is sold in the classic 500g jar.

Since 1925, the label "Genuine German honey" is known as the mark of quality, guaranteeing top-class honey from Germany. Only honey that is carefully processed and harvested in Germany may carry this quality label and be sold in the original German Beekeepers Association jar.
