To obtain a special flower source for the honey, beekeepers place their hives in areas that feature a large amount of the same type of plant.
Attracted to the dominant nectar type, the bees fly at the flowers until their reserves of nectar are exhausted.

How are specific types of honey produced? Harvesting of specific types of honey is only possible in areas where the corresponding melliferous plants frequently occur. Therefore the beekeeper goes on a journey with his bees. The colonies are closed up in the evening when the bees are no longer active and transported at night to places where the particular plant varieties bloom.

This honey is harvested in almost entirely unspoilt mountain regions where species-rich flora is preserved, largely free of fertilisers and pesticides. It has a sun-yellow colour, a naturally fine-creamy consistency and a mildly aromatic flavour. Delicious and healthy when spread on bread. It comes in 250 g and 500 g jars.
