The sites chosen for the beehives are largely unspoilt natural landscapes and ecologically farmed fields and gardens. Organic beekeepers are required to keep records of the locations. For winter hibernation, the beekeepers leave the bees with their own honey. The mark of the German organic control authority on the label guarantees that they have checked constant compliance with these commitments.
