When Germany is in full bloom, in spring and summer, hard-working bees fly around capturing the essence of the large variety of flowers and the perfume of the German summer. This generates a delicate, flowery, sunshine-yellow honey with a rich, highly aromatic flavour.

Special honey types can only be harvested where the bees can find large, homogenous yield areas. The extensive German forests, for example in Bavaria, produce sufficient honeydew to enable us to obtain pure German forest honey.

This ivory white to yellowy honey reminds us of the smell of rapeseed flowers. With its easily-spreadable, crystallised consistency and mildly aromatic flavour, it is a favourite of many honey connoisseurs.
