Whether it's a sweet and mild acacia honey, a soft and creamy rapeseed honey, or a tangy and spicy forest honey; single-source honey provides an intense taste experience.
To obtain a special flower source for the honey, beekeepers place their hives in areas that feature a large amount of the same type of plant.
Attracted to the dominant nectar type, the bees fly at the flowers until their reserves of nectar are exhausted.

How do bees recognize their hive? Although individual colonies often live close to each other or change their location, the bees always recognize their home. They orientate themselves by searching for the entrance hole, the surroundings and the so-called hive smell. Additionally coloured approach boards help the bees to find their way.

Forest honey

On sunny late-summer days, the bees produce this honeydew honey from the coniferous and deciduous trees of the forest. It is characterised by its dark colour and a crisp, fragrant flavour.
Delicious together with pure, natural yoghurt, or on bread or rolls. Available in 250 g and 500 g jars.

Our forest honey won the gold medal of the Deutsche Landwirtschafts-Gesellschaft (German Agricultural Association, DLG) in 2021.
